I am hoping this webinar will be available for replay. I have other obligations on Thursday night. Are you planning on posting for replay?

    Hi,
As with our previous webinars, we highly recommend going live if possible because of the live Q&A. However, we expect that SplitSuit will allow us to replay it for anyone who is unable to make it live.

Anyone else take a look at the sample hand SplitSuit sent out yet? I've gone over it a few times and I'm curious to see how other people see this one. I would be surprised if my thoughts on the hand match up with SplitSuit's - I've been told I suffer from Fancy Play Syndrome sometimes. As such, I probably play this hand differently from the flop onwards - delay C-bet or maybe raise a turn probe by villain. When Hero gets to the river in this spot, I don't know what he is representing by betting it. On the other hand, there is no chance he has showdown value and is at probably the very bottom of his range.

So, on one hand Hero is in a spot where he needs to bluff to win the hand but I can't find enough better hands that fold in this spot to make it a profitable move. If I held the As then I could make a case for bombing the river (balance out my nutted hands with my bluffs) but hero doesn't. So what hands can villain check-call with on 2 streets that fold to the river bet?

Looking forward to seeing exactly why I'm wrong to think about this hand the way I am :)

Well, awesome webinar and much more advanced that I thought it would be. Most of SplitSuit's stuff I've seen before focused on lower stakes games. I was thinking more exploitative play in my thought process above and he approached this hand from a much more GTO-based one.

At least I'm happy that this hand was considered very marginal for the river bluff. That means I found my way to the same place, just not in the optimal way. Mixing the foundations from the webinar with the experience I have with the player populations I see regularly should help my game become stronger across all streets and positions.

FYI - these webinars are worth their weight in gold. 2nd one I've attended and beyond happy APT put them together for us.
