Sorry about this. The best way to change the gender for the live tourneys is to click on the "View Lobby" button from the multi-table tournament page: https://www.advancedpokertraining.com/poker/multiplayer/
Once you are in the lobby, click "Account" in the top left and then "Change Info". From there, you can change your player name and choose an avatar.
You can also change your public profile for the site (including adding a personalized avatar) here:
