I have sat down on multiple live 1/2 cash tables and watched a villain sit down on a relatively tight table and pre-flop raise about 30% of the time, follow it up with continuation bets and crush the table. The villain seems good enough to lay down hands when he is behind but yet good enough to get weak players off of their hands. In about 2 hours the villain is up over $500 and walks away.
Does APT offer a way to simulate this kind of aggressive behavior or do they have any plans to add training for someone like this?

The closest you can get is to choose a table with the player mix as more aggressive than usual. The reality is that it is very difficult to make a computer player ultra aggressive and good. We do our best to make our bots play like most normal styles, but when you encounter someone with an extreme style, it becomes very hard to simulate that with computers and keep them good.
Thanks for the question.

I agree. Maniacs win some times, but over a period of time, it is a very rare one that does.
