I listen to so many podcasts that are always telling me how to break down my online database to very intricate statistics (usually via PT4 or Hold'em Manager). Are either of those programs, or any other compatible with the database I have in my account? I know your software lets me do some, but it seems rather minimal. Am I missing something?
Best regards,
It looks like you're new here. If you want to get involved, click one of these buttons!

You are able to export your hands from here into either PT4 or Hold'em Manager. That's what most people do who want to cut the data from APT a little more.
Go to the saved sessions page: https://www.advancedpokertraining.com/poker/select_sessions.php
From there, select all the sessions you would like to import (or you can select all of them). Once you have selected them, click the "export" green button at the bottom of the page.
Here is a page that describes the export function and what to do:

Thanks! Looks like that is the key piece of information I have been missing!
I know you guys don't work for PT4, and they don't know your software in detail. Having said that they told me the two are not compatible. I know they are not compatible in the sense that it will NOT track any new play on APT, and I believe you when you say I can import my existing database for analysis. One question they can't answer for me that I wonder if anyone else has come across. They have a "Low Stakes" version of the software for a lower cost than the "High Stakes" version. The "stakes" played here on APT definitely fall into the "High Stakes" version. But I'm wondering if that only matters in using PT4 to track NEW hands (which we know it won't in APT).
In other words, I'd like to buy their "Low Stakes" version, but don't know if I'll be blocked from importing 2/3rds of my hands because PT4 would consider them to be "High Stakes".
Anyone come across this before?
I don't know the answer to this. I know that some people have had problems in the past with the higher stakes that our game shows, but I don't know how that relates to the low vs high stakes versions. Maybe someone on here knows the answer to this?
I have the regular version of PT4 and have imported the hands from here with no problems.
Thanks, I just tried the free trial, and other than the fact that it loads all of the tournaments in as a $0 buy-in, it seems to work fine. That affects the ROI, but I already get that from APT!
Glad to hear it works - I know some people do this, but we rarely hear from anyone unless they have trouble. So thanks for letting me know it works (and the $0 buy-in part).
