2025 WSOP Early Schedule Highlights

Spread the word and share this article

Last month, the WSOP released a first look at the 2025 WSOP Schedule in Las Vegas. A high point of every poker player’s year is that day when they can start to plan their next trip to the WSOP. The 2025 WSOP will again be on the Strip at Paris and the Horseshoe. The move from the Rio a couple of years ago has been generally well-received. It looks like the WSOP is settling well into its new Las Vegas home.

Here at APT, we are all eagerly anticipating the 2025 WSOP. Steve is still waiting for his first shot at the Senior’s tournament. The rest of us are trying to figure out how we can make the WSOP part of our summer plans.

What does the early look at the 2025 WSOP schedule tell us? We now know that the 2025 WSOP will run from May 27th to July 16th. The $10,000 buy-in Main Event will begin on July 2nd and wrap up with a final table on July 15-16.

When announcing the schedule, WSOP CEO Ty Stewart said, “Each year allows us to refine further and improve the WSOP offering, and 2025 will be no exception. Expect the biggest poker events on the planet, the best action and the most intense competition as we once again welcome tens of thousands of poker enthusiasts eager to experience the magic of the WSOP.”

The WSOP has thus far promised a return of the Mystery Millions, Millionaire Maker, and the Senior’s Championship tournaments. They also tease “some new, exciting tournament formats”. We will have to wait for the release of the full schedule (likely sometime later in February or March, based upon previous years) for more details.
